PROJECT SKAGERAK
How to farm fish on locations with cold winter temperatures?
The Skagerak Model is to be used when the water temperatures during the winter is near 0 degrees celsius.
These low temperatures decrease the growth of the fish so much that it normally makes it difficult to achieve economic sustainability. The Skagerak Model provides warmer waters at a low cost to insulated fish tanks, and the highly nutritious wastewater is then used to gain growth to other aquatic organisms.
The Skagerak Model uses more of the nutrients in the fish feed, and leads no wastewater back to the nature. All the aquatic organisms are in safe water proof tanks.
